For a medical doctor, I have never been treated as badly by anyone as Dr Colella did in ER, he belittled me, when I tried to answer his questions, he swore at myself that was uncalled for, and when he asked if I got the vaccines and I said no, he said oh your a tough guy. If this is what the hospital has to offer, no wonder people feel that the health care is garbage now and the hospital is a joke. I had a person come to do blood tests who took blood, but then after that i was told to go home and when i asked about the blood tests, the nurse checked and came back and told me to go home, ya really good medical checking, not... sad really that this is what it comes down too now..

I saw Dr. Colella in VGH ER today and he went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and knowledges about my newly discovered blood clot. He was very patient with my high stress questions and absolutely treated me with more respect than any other doctor, emergency or not. I can’t be more thankful to have come across such an amazing and empathetic doctor!
